Batik is Global Trends Gallery unique clothing line and online store.
We are based in Campbell River, Vancouver Island, Canada. The owner,
Cherrie Warburton, spends half of the year living in Bali, Indonesia,
working with tailors and fabric producers to develop her unique
line of women's clothing, accessories and home decor.
From the very beginning, the company's goal has been to produce
unique handmade batik clothing in a range of comfortable styles.
Working directly with small shops and individuals in Bali allows
Cherrie to beneficially affect the living standard of the people
who work for her, and affords us the opportunity to produce unique
fabrics, clothing styles and crafts. Cherrie is proud to say her
handmade batik clothing is not made in sweat shops, but by creative,
hardworking people who are trying to evolve into a better standard

 There
are many other handicrafts and unique items we sell with our women's
clothing line. If you are visiting Vancouver Island, take the time
to visit us at Global Trends Gallery on 11th Avenue in Campbell
River. Take a left turn off the main Street, Shoppers Row, and continue
down 11th Avenue, almost to the end of the street. We are on the
right hand side. There is plenty of parking!
